I would like to welcome you to Kenmare School District. My name is Dr. Tim Godfrey and I will be serving as your Superintendent and 9-12th grade principal. My wife Jackie and I have six children and five grand children. In my free time, I like hunting, fishing, and running. I have served as a special education teacher in both elementary and secondary, an elementary principal, a high school principal, and a school district superintendent.

I'm delighted to be a part of the Kenmare community and the Kenmare School District. This is an exciting time in education and North Dakota is an innovator in the way we prepare students for the challenges of post school life. Much of my background lies in innovative education to include project based learning. I've also been privileged with supporting the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support in a number of districts. The process is aimed at helping students who may be struggling with reading and math. Through a data-driven intervention approach, those districts were able to increase student achievement and ensure more students were reading at grade level and beyond.

I look forward to our journey together as we shape the future of Kenmare Public Schools. My door is always open to you so please feel free to call or stop by if you have any questions or concerns.

Respectfully yours,

Tim Godfrey
