I met with staff recently and there are a few concerns we'd like to address. When it's been decided that students will distance learn, other than for immediate reasons related to Covid19, they must distance learn for the semester. When students are out sick other than Covid19, even if they decide to log into Zoom, they will be counted absent due to medical or parent request. It is not required that they participate via distance learning. Also, students will not be allowed to simply stay home and distance learn for a few days. Please support us by ensuring this is not happening.
Please review the school calendar for early out days. On early out days, school is dismissed at 1:30 p.m
Please refrain from calling your child's cell phone during the school day. If you must talk with them, please contact the office. Students are only allowed to use their phones before school, after school, and during lunch. They may also use their phones if the teacher has allowed it in class for educational purposes.
