As we prepare for the new school year, we want to share an important update. Due to House Bill 1160, North Dakota law now requires schools to enforce stricter limits on personal electronic devices during the school day.
📵 What This Means at KPS:
All personal devices must be turned off and turned in at the office, unless approved for online learning.
Devices may not be used during instructional time, including class, lunch, recess, and passing periods.
Exceptions are made for medical needs, IEP/504 plans, or approved academic use.

First District Health Unit will have their mobile clinic at the Kenmare school parking lot on Thursday June 5th from 10 am to 11 am to give MMR vaccinations for measles. No appointment is needed. Any unvaccinated person born in 1957 or later can be vaccinated at this clinic. Infants must be at least 12 months old. You can go to www.FDHU.org for more information.
