In class this week, the preschoolers have been learning all about flowers and plants! 🌸🌱 We’ve spent time discovering what plants need to live: dirt, water, sunlight, air, space… and of course, a little LOVE. ❤️

Kenmare-Bowbells Coach’s Comments:
Today the JH Honkers recorded a total of 18 PRs out of 31 total individual events. It was a chilly but sunny day in Fessenden for the JH kids 3rd track meet of the short season. The kids had some butterflies as we tried a couple new events today, but they pushed through those nerves and persevered.
After the conclusion of today’s JH track meet is what made me most proud as a coach was the teamwork these kids showed by cleaning up our tent area and surrounding area without me even having to say anything. Track once again shows to be more than just an individual sport, but more of individual and team character building.

We are so proud to celebrate two of our incredible students, Roxanne Quigley and Bianca Sagness, who have been named **North Dakota STEM All-Stars!** 🎉
Each year, only six students across the state are selected for this honor, recognizing their hard work, dedication to education, and genuine love of learning. To have two students from our school chosen is truly something special.
As STEM All-Stars, they will be recognized during STEM Night at a Bismarck Larks game, receive a personalized team jersey, tickets for their families, and be celebrated both in the game program and on the field. They’ll also enjoy a family pass to Gateway to Science and participate in the exciting STEM Expo filled with hands-on activities.
This recognition reflects not only their curiosity and determination, but also the bright future they are building through learning and exploration.

State B Speech kicked off at Mandan High School on Saturday, April 25th… and let’s just say, things started a little extra 🔥😅 with an emergency fire evacuation just 10 minutes before round one! Talk about setting the stage!
But did that shake our team? Not a chance. Our 12 speakers showed up, showed out, and represented KHS with confidence, talent, and pure grit 💪✨
Out of 73 schools, Kenmare earned an incredible 8th place overall — an amazing accomplishment! 🏆👏
