It’s getting cold outside, and students will continue to go out for recess whenever possible. Please be sure your child comes to school with proper cold-weather gear each day, including:
🧥 Warm jackets
🧤 Gloves or mittens
🧣 Hats
👉 To help avoid mix-ups, we recommend labeling all items with your child’s name. Our lost and found fills up quickly, and labeled gear makes it much easier to return items to the right owner!
Thank you for helping keep our kids safe, warm, and ready to enjoy recess this winter!
Students in Grades 6–12 can wear their Halloween costumes to school TOMORROW – Friday, October 31! 🧙♀️🧛♂️🕸️
Just a reminder of the costume rules:

💰 Fee: $50 per person (valid Oct. 24, 2025 – Aug. 31, 2026)
📋 To Sign Up: Fill out the Gym/Weight Room Agreement Form in the High School Office and return it with payment.
🔑 Access: Jackie Rockeman will contact you when your fob is ready for pickup.
🕒 Hours of Use:
School Year: Weekdays 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Weekends 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Summer: Hours vary due to maintenance schedules
✅ Adults must be present with students
✅ Do not prop doors open
✅ Bring your own ball or equipment
Fobs and cameras are monitored for safety. Proceeds support KPS Activities and Hudl.
