KPS is partnering with CREA to launch a new anonymous reporting app for students. It's called STOPit and allows for students to report incidences anonymously before they escalate in order to keep everyone safe💛

A friendly reminder with school starting on Wednesday, August 24: Please do not drive behind the schools from 8:00 am-3:45 pm. Students will be engaging in recess and being dropped off and picked up through our bus transportation services.

The State of ND is offering a federal benefit for families that qualify for free or reduced meal status.
Families that fill out the Free and Reduced Meal Application before August 19th and qualify for free or reduced-price meals will also receive the Summer P-EBT card- a $391 value per child for groceries.
• School Meals: Most commonly associated with the free/reduced application is the opportunity to receive free or discounted school meals for children. Eligibility is based on family size and income.
• School Funding: The district's funding is dependent on our rate of free/reduced students, as is our eligibility for additional grant funding. Ensuring our free/reduced rate accurately represents our district is vital in providing a valuable education.

Meals will return to paid-for status as we transition into a new school year. Families will need to pay full price for student meals or fill out an application to qualify for free and reduced-priced meals.

🏐VOLLEYBALL CAMP🏐
Hello,
Girls Golf for Bowbells and Kenmare High School will be starting on Monday August 1st. Practices will be from 9 am to noon on August 1st thru August 4th at the Kenmare Country Club.
We have our first meet scheduled for Friday August 5th in Tioga. Participants will need 4 practices to compete at meets.

We are really getting excited for the season to start!!!
📞We understand that there may be some scheduling conflicts with your end of summer vacations and back to school itinerary (doctor appointments, dentist appointments, etc.) Communication with the coaching staff is critical. We will work with you and your sons on their schedule.

With not having a JH football coach at this time our varsity coaching staff will have to split time with teams and sometimes teams will practice together.
