Make your voice heard! Absentee ballots for the bond referendum are due TOMORROW, March 16th and in-person voting is TUESDAY, March 17th from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Hall.
Absentee ballots are located at the high school office, online at vip.sos.nd.gov/absentee and on the bond referendum informational website https://sites.google.com/mykps.us/bondreferendum under "Voting Information" and "Documents."

Please see attached letter for information about 5th/6th grade girls basketball! The same letter was also sent home with 5th and 6th grade girls today who expressed interested in playing basketball!

PTO EVENTS: Honker Nation PTO is looking for more members! See the flyer for more information on how to get involved.
March 16th: PTO and FFA members are offering free childcare at KHS during Parent Teacher Conferences (starting at 1:30) and the community meeting following conferences.
March 24 6-8 PM: Family STEAM night at the high school! Come for a free-will meal, cotton candy, and engaging, hands-on STEAM activities.

Austin Porter has qualified to participate in the State Geography Bee to be held at Bismarck State College on Friday, March 27! Way to go Austin! 🌎👨🏫


SCHEDULE CHANGE: Parent Teacher conferences on Monday, March 16th are from 1:30-6:30 with a community meeting in the auditorium following at 7:00. Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:45 and high school students will be dismissed at 1:00. We can't wait to see you!


It's game day! Honker boys play Powers Lake at 7:30 tonight for the district championship in Stanley! Let's go Honkers! 🏀🎉

Congratulations to the girls' basketball team for a second place finish at regionals! You played hard and had a great season! Extra congrats to Brenna Stroklund and Kate Zimmer for making the All-Region team. It's a good day to be a Honker! 🏀💛


2020-2021 CALENDAR: Here's a copy of the school board approved 2020-2021 school calendar!


The girls defeated Mandaree last night, which means they're in the REGION CHAMPIONSHIP! They play Trenton on Thursday, February 27th at 7:30 in New Town. Let's fill that event center up! Great job team! 🏀💛👏🏼


The Boys District 16 Basketball Tournament on 2/28, 2/29, & 3/2will be aired live on https://www.nfhsnetwork.com You can buy a 1-month subscription for $11. If interested you will be able to watch all 3 games live or on demand when we you choose to. Go to the NFHS Network website and search Stanley, ND.


NDSU Extension Services is offering a FREE class on Conscious Discipline in March and April! Check out the attached flyer for more information.


The Kenmare Speech team hit the open road Saturday morning for Minot to compete in the Nedrose Cardinal Invitational meet along with about 30 other schools. Our students all gave a great effort and came home with the following awards:
Jaden McNeiley - 1st in Storytelling (State Qualifying) and 2nd in Radio broadcasting
Madison Griffin - 4th in Poetry
Megan Zimmer and Isabel Sieg - 4th in Humorous Duo
Arand Bartlett - 5th in Extemp Speaking and 8th in Impromptu
Isabel Sieg - 7th in Extemp Programmed Reading
Abbey Kohler - Top Novice in Serious Prose
Jesse Rodin - Top Novice in Speech to Entertain
