Hello Everyone,
November is Diabetes Awareness Month. We have numerous people in our school and community affected with this disease. I’d like to show our awareness by wearing blue each Friday this month (besides this week).
World Diabetes Day is also on November 14, so I’d welcome everyone to wear a hat and pay a dollar to donate toward JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) that day! Hats off to our diabetic heroes.
To kick off Diabetes Awareness Month, let’s wear our favorite sports team/Honker gear to team up against diabetes this Friday, November 1.
Thanks for your support for our students, staff, and community members in the fight for a cure for diabetes.
