The School-Wide Geography Bee will be held on Wednesday, December 4, at 2:30 in the KHS Auditorium. All family and friends are welcome to attend!

Picture retakes have been rescheduled for November 5th rather than November 8th. This will be at the high school!

JH and JV football update:
Next Monday, October 14th the JV team will be playing WNG @ Glenburn with a start time of 5pm. Also on Monday, October 14th the JH team will be playing Tioga @ Tioga with a start time of 5pm. These will be the final games for the JH and JV, and the JH student-athletes will hand their jerseys in after the game!
Tomorrow we will have 2 sub-varsity football games Nedrose @ Kenmare-B-BC. JH will start at 5pm with the JV game beginning right after the finish of the JH game. This means there will be no game on Thursday.

Kenmare-B-BC Honkers football team win a close one 12-6 on the road vs the Nedrose Cardinals!
Honkers Volleyball Update:
Honkers split with Bishop Ryan and swept Center-Stanton in 1st 2 pool play games at the DLB Invitational Tournament. Pool play resumes tomorrow morning at 10.
College Application Day at Kenmare High School:
17 seniors applied and bank of ND paid the $35 application fee! Thanks Bank of ND!

Today’s JH volleyball game vs Stanley is AT KENMARE starting at 4 PM.
Congrats to the Honkers C-Squad volleyball team on an excellent weekend of volleyball. The Honkers won their pool and advanced all the way to the championship game in the Kenmare C-Squad Volleyball Tournament. The Honkers took 2nd place as they were defeated by DLB in the 3rd and final set.
Kenmare-B-BC Honkers football team beat the South Prairie Royals on Friday, September 27th 47-0.
Cross Country Update:
This weekend at the Rugby meet, Mason Chrest and Garrett Cook both ran under the 19 minute mark. Mason Chrest ran a team best this season with an 18:03 time! We placed fifth behind Williston High School, New Town, Griggs Co and Rugby out of 24 teams present!
Attention Kenmare Community Honker Fans: If you would like to participate in the parade, please line up at 2:15. The parade starts at 2:30.
On Tuesday, Sept 24 the Burke Central/Kenmare Panthers went to Beulah for a cross country meet. Panthers placed 5th out of 14 team. 1st-Legacy Bismarck 2nd-Bowman County (ranked 2nd in state) 3- Bismarck Century 4-Beulah 5-Burke Central/Kenmare. Congrats to Mason Chrest who became the first Burke Central/Kenmare student/athlete under the 19 minute mark.
The team travels to Rugby on Saturday for a meet.
