KPS will have a late start tomorrow, November 20th. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m. Due to the late start, there will be no morning preschool.
Due to the current weather forecast there will be no school today. KPS will be following the distance learning plan. Please follow instructions sent home by teachers.

Dear KPS - With the potential of rain turning to snow mixed with high winds, we've asked students to bring home items for possible distance learning tomorrow and maybe Wednesday. We have not made a final decision and won't until late this evening or tomorrow morning. I will make the final decision as soon as I have more of an idea what is coming. Thank you.

🥶🧣Please send all winter gear with your children tomorrow. The playground is full of very wet snow. The kids will have a blast but they need winter coats, boots, snow pants, mittens, hats, and even extra clothes. Thank you! 🧤

🏐 Good Luck to the Kenmare-Bowbells Honkers volleyball team at the State Class B Volleyball Tournament in Fargo this week. The Honkers will play South Prairie on Thursday, November 21 @ 1:00 PM.
🏀 HS Girls Basketball practice will begin on Monday, November 18

The freshmen have been learning about some rootin' tootin' varmits called invasive species. They did a great job with their research, and an even better job with their creative posters. Here are a few of the highlights of some of the most wanted critters.
The sophomore class has been working hard on their paper roller coasters. 🎢 This project teaches them about how gravitational potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and what that means for the speed of a marble at different points on the track. 🛤️
