The Burke Central/Kenmare Panthers attended the Western Regional Championship in Bismarck on Saturday October 9. Mason Chrest (24th overall) ran his fastest time this year and 13 others had all time personal records!

The Honkers took home the NW Conference Tournament Championship held in Ray defeating the DLB Lakers!
3rd place finish at the L&C Berthold 8th Grade Volleyball Tournament today. The Honkers went 4-1 overall.

🗓Make up picture day has been moved to Wednesday, November 10. We are only scheduled to take fall pictures this year.
Mrs. Zimmer’s 7th grade physical education class has been having class at the Kenmare Country Club. Mrs. Zimmer hopes to do other activities in the outdoors, even during the winter months!
This Friday, October 8th will be the final home game of the season for the K-B-BC Honkers football team as they host the L&C Berthold Bombers. Since it is our final home game of the season we will be honoring our seniors before the game around 6:40pm. All senior football players & stats were given a letter last week with directions, if you have any questions please contact Mr. Keysor. Before the game please find Mr. Scherbenske or Mr. Keysor as they will have coupons for concessions for all families who have players or stats on the football team.

The Burke Central/Kenmare Panthers traveled to Rugby on Saturday October 2nd for a cross country meet. Anna Petersen came in 1st in the junior varsity girls division. A total of 29 teams in attendance. *Still awaiting other results to be posted.
The Kenmare Honkers varsity team took the Silver Bracket Championship in the Laker Invitation this weekend!
With the JH Volleyball team defeating the Powers Lake Ranchers last night 2-1 the 6/7th grade team is now 10-3 and the 7/8th grade team improves to 8-1 on the season. The Honkers have 3 matches & 1 tournament left this season.

Congrats McKenna Mau on your first State B Girls Golf Tournament and placing in the top half of the state! As an 8th grader McKenna tied for 65th overall and shot 2 strokes better today in the 2nd round.
Congratulations to Coach Kostad, McKenna Mau, Charlotte Brekhus, Rylee Hedberg, Brooke Livingston, and Hailey France on a great season. You girls got better nearly every meet, and we are already looking forward to see what you can accomplish next year!

Congratulations to the Kenmare C-Squad volleyball team on winning the 2021 Kenmare C-Squad Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 25th. The Honkers won their pool going 8-0, and went 6-1 in the tournament play to win the championship over the DLB Lakers 2-1!
