Varsity @ Glenburn Tournament: Champions vs Mohall 2-0 vs Nedrose 2-0 vs TGU 2-0 vs Drake/Anamoose 2-0 vs Bishop 2-1 vs Benson County 2-0 JV @ Watford City Tournament: 6th place out of 15 Csquad @ Bottineau JV Tournament: 2nd Place vs Surrey 2-0 vs Bottineau 1-1 (we won by points) vs Rolla 2-0 vs Rugby 1-1 (they won by points)

Kenmare did awesome in Newtown at the NW Conference meet. We only had 3 golfers so could not post a team score but McKenna took 6th with a 98 Charlotte placed 12th with a 109 Rylee 15th with a 112. Out of 41 golfers. Stanley team took 1st DLB 2nd Top 6 places Caiti Hennessy 75 Lauryn Keller 84 Winter Old Rock 86 Kaisa Mortenson 89 Ava Wallin 97 McKenna Mau 98 A score of 87 or better qualified them for the State Meet.

Kenmare Golf took part in a Varsity Meet in Stanley on Wednesday September 8th. 6 Teams with a total of 38 golfers who participated Team Scores: 1st DLB 397 (winning on 5th score over) 2nd Stanley 397 3rd Tioga 428 4th Newtown 435 5th Kenmare 467 6th Ray 489 Rylee Hedberg firing her lowest 18 hole score of 106 for 9th place. Followed by McKenna 115 for 17th, Charlotte Brekhus 122 for 21st Brooke Livingston 124 for 22nd Hailey France 150 for 30th. Top 6 scores: Lauryn Keller DLB 81 Kaisa Mortenson Stanley 83 Caiti Hennessy Stanley 86 Brooklyn Hanson DLB 97 Winter Old Rock Newtown 97 The girls will compete at the NW Conference meet in Newtown on Friday Sept 10th.

🌿6TH GRADE ECO-ED TOMORROW🌿 Hello 6th grade parents/guardians, The 6th grade students will be heading to Mouse River Park tomorrow for ECO-ED day with surrounding schools. They will leave the school around 8:40 and return around 2:00. They will need to dress for the weather (maybe pack a sweatshirt or light jacket for the cooler morning). Lunch will be provided. Kiwanis Cross Country meet in Mandan was held on Friday, September 3. With seven events held during the event over 600 athletes were registered to compete from both Class A and Class B schools. In the varsity girls event (5000 m), Ava Froseth ran 22:44 and Karliegh Quinata ran 26:38. Ava shaved 3 minutes from her first cross country event at Velva. For Karliegh this was her first race ever as a cross country runner. In JV (4000 m), Anna Petersen continues to excel and placed sixth with an 18:04 time against 71 other runners in that division. On the boys side, both the JV and varsity ran 5000 m (3.1 miles). In the varsity event William Cook ran an 18:49 with Mason Chrest running a 19:54. Justin Burud came across the finish line with a 21:18 and Andrew King at 24:58. For the JV boys Drew Houck led the Kenmare boys with 24:10 but Eli Anderson is quickly finding his rhythm with a 24:17. Landan Spear ended with a 24:36; Zachary Griffin with a 27:27 and Cole Mogren with a 24:41. Next meet is at Stanley on Tuesday, September 7th.
