🚨Girls Basketball Postponed🚨 Tomorrow's JV and Varsity girls basketball games vs Benson County have been POSTPONED due to illness and in effort to keep both teams healthy! We are hoping to find a date that works for both teams, when/if this date is selected a release will happen.

🗓️Boys Basketball Schedule Update🗓️ Tuesday, January 13th's boys basketball games @ Ray have been postponed to next Monday, January 19th but we will ONLY be playing JV & Varsity games starting at 5:45 & 7:15pm @ Ray. Our JH will be playing @ South Prairie on Monday, January 19th at 4 & 5pm. Here are remaining dates for Boys C-Squad games: January 22nd @ Powers Lake January 30th @ Parshall February 10th @ Velva For up to date schedules please check out the KPS Activities Google Calendar.

Close-Up will be selling Dippin' Dots during flight time and home games! $5 for a small and $9 for a large 🍧

Come watch local “celebrity” donkey jockeys try their hand (and balance!) at riding real, live donkeys. It’s high-energy, laugh-out-loud fun for all ages. Tickets available at Bowbells Public School. 🎟️

Nursing staff from First District Health Unit will have a booth at the school the evening of the doubleheader basketball games vs Tioga on Monday, January 26th. They will be offering free blood pressure checks and information on preventative health screenings to interested fans. Come to the games early to take advantage of this free screening.

Partnership for Success (PFS) Student Survey

Grades 6, 7, and 8

Kenmare Public School participates in the Partnership for Success (PFS) grant, which includes an optional student survey administered in partnership with the First District Health Unit.

The PFS Student Survey:

Is for students in grades 6, 7, and 8

Takes approximately 10 minutes to complete

Is administered during the school day

Collects information only on student demographics and alcohol use

Is anonymous and used to support prevention programming and grant reporting

Will be administered between January and May 2026

Participation in this survey is voluntary. Parents/guardians may choose to opt their student out of participating.

There will be no school from December 22nd to January 2nd.
Classes will resume on January 5th.

🎄✨ Holiday Fun with Student Council! ✨🎄

This week has been full of holiday cheer thanks to our Student Council, who planned several fun, festive activities to spread joy and kindness throughout the school.

On Wednesday, our 6th and 8th graders took part in a special Reading Buddies activity, visiting the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms to share stories and smiles. It was wonderful to see older students reading aloud, connecting with the younger classes, and bringing holiday magic to story time.

Thank you to Miss Overton and the Student Council. We’re so proud of our students for showing leadership, kindness, and school spirit. 💛
