SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION: A school board election vote will be held on JUNE 9TH, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be an ABSENTEE BALLOT ONLY election.
You can vote in one of two ways:
1. USPS mail
2. Drop off at one of the secure voting locations: Front door of the KHS building, or Kenmare City Hall.
You can obtain an absentee ballot application by going to our website, going to https://vip.sos.nd.gov/absentee, or contacting business manager Mary Ann Melin.

Juniors (next year's seniors): KPS is offering a new class next year: Agriscience Technology II (drones). This class is an FAA approved drone certification class and will prepare you to take the FAA drone certification test. The class is limited to 10 students and next year's seniors get first chance at registration. Please check your mykps email if interested.

PARENTS: We know adjusting to distance learning hasn't been easy, but we THANK and APPRECIATE your willingness to help us educate your students! You already wear many hats as a parent and KPS is so grateful for your hard work in helping education happen at home. 👏🏼💛

PARENT RESOURCES: The NDSU Extension center is offering Zoom sessions to meet and brainstorm ideas with other caregivers! The first session is April 22nd. If you are interested, please email holly.arnold@ndsu.edu.
Some other details:
🟣Three Wednesday evenings (April 22, 29 and May 6) from 8:30-9:30 pm (more dates will be added if there is an interest)
🟣You are not committed to be on every session-whatever dates work for you
🟣There will not be an agenda. I want this to be participant directed and very fluid.

TEAM SCHOLAR AWARDS: Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Football, and Volleyball teams for earning the NDHSAA Team Scholar awards! This award is given to teams who maintain an average GPA of 3.2 or above. We are so proud of your hard work! 📚👏🏼🎉
