May's character is Citizenship.

📣 High School Students of the Month 📣
Kenmare High School’s last student of the month for grades 6/7/8 is Kiley Aufforth, daughter of Lisa and Ryan Aufforth. As a seventh grader, Kiley has already been very active with volleyball, basketball and softball. She is also proud of being part of the cheering sections for the Honkers at State competitions.
Education is important to Kiley because it is an opportunity to be exposed to different subjects and topics to prepare her for the future. Part of Kiley’s future plans is to play sports at the college level.
Roxy Quigley was nominated by the high school staff to represent grades 9/10 as Student of the Month. Roxy, a sophomore, is the daughter of Jacob and Jackie Quigley. Roxy likes to be involved in everything and has been activeFina in FFA, FBLA, Speech, Drama, Envirothon, Track, Cross Country and even the occasional penguin taming contest. Roxy loves being a part of the different extracurricular activities and putting a large amount of time and effort into them.
Roxy feels education is important because it will give her the opportunity to make her future what she wants it to be. Her goal is to attend NDSU and become an Ag teacher and FFA advisor.
As a junior at Kenmare High School, William Cook was chosen to represent the students in grades 11/12. William is the son of Josh and Kari Cook. While in high school, he has been busy with Cross Country, Wrestling, Track, FFA, FBLA, Student Council, Speech, Drama and Envirothon. As a wrestler, William stated he was proud of the success the team has earned in Wrestling despite having a smaller team.
Education is important to William as education prepares us for the opportunities we will have in the future. His future goal is to go to college debt free and wrestle well while there.
