State Superintendent's Family Engagement Cabinet
Call for Applications - LAST CHANCE
The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) is seeking applicants for the Family Engagement Cabinet term beginning January 1, 2024. In an effort to assemble a diverse group of parents, guardians, caretakers, and educators of children in grades PK-12 from all regions of the state, we invite you to apply to be part of this exciting opportunity to help shape the ways families and schools work together to support the education of all children.
For additional information and a link to the electronic Application for Selection form, please see the 2024-2025 Family Engagement Cabinet Application Guidance. All applications and cover letters must be received by 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, November 6, 2023. Applicants will be informed of the selection status on or about November 27, 2023, and the first meeting of the new Family Engagement Cabinet will be held in January 2024.

🏐 The District 16 Volleyball Tournament will wrap up on Monday. The Kenmare-Bowbells Honkers will be playing in the Championship game that evening. 🏐
🎃Don't forget to come to the volleyball game in your Halloween costume. There will be a $50 prize for the best adult costume and a $50 prize for the best kids costume🎃

Dear KPS Families: Due to road conditions, we will have a late start of 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, October 27th.
Busses will be running, please plan for your children to be picked up an hour and a half later than their normal pick up time.

Dear KPS Families: Due to worsening weather conditions and the uncertainty of safe travels, we will be distance learning today, October 26th.
Even though there is no school, students in grades 6-12 are expected to attend zoom classes with their teachers. An email has been sent to the students pertaining to the schedule and students have been instructed how to find the zoom link on their google classroom or within an email from the classroom teacher.
If a student does not attend the zoom meeting, the student will be counted absent for that hour.
