The 7th grade class has been reading “The Monsters on Maple Street,” and now one section of the class decided to put on the play. We had a speaker over Zoom: Alan was in Furious 7, Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, and Lady and the Tramp. The kids thought it was amazing.

🎙Dear KPS Families🎙 🚨Due to unforeseen water meter maintenance at the elementary school, the water has been shut off. All PreK-2nd grade students will need to be dismissed as soon as possible. 📱🚌 If you cannot pick your student up at this time, please contact the elementary office (385-4688) and we will provide transportation for them to the high school to be dismissed at regular dismissal times this afternoon. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Dear KPS - First District Health Unit will once again be providing flu shots at the Kenmare School. Flu immunizations will play a major role in keeping our kids and communities healthy this fall and winter. Flu shots will be given at our school on Monday, October 10, 2022 starting at 8:45am. This year registering for a flu shot is even easier! There are now two options: 1. Parents can register their students online at www.fdhu.org. Once registered, a consent will be emailed to the parent to fill in and sign online. You will not need to complete or turn in a paper consent if completing online. Teachers and staff members may also register through the website. It will be helpful if all STAFF and STUDENTS register as soon as possible so we can prepare. Everyone for the Kenmare school will sign up for the same date and same time – Monday, October 10th at 8:45. 2. Paper consents are being provided for your school to hand out to every child. Paper consents can be used by those parents who do not wish to sign up online. If signing up using the paper consent, please complete and return to the school office as soon as possible. (Remember, if signing up online, a consent will be emailed to be completed online and a paper consent will not need to be turned in to the school secretary.) Consents will be accepted up to the day of the clinic. However, we encourage staff and parents to have either online or paper consents completed and to the school by Monday, September 26th.
